Let Your Mind Run: A Memoir of Thinking My Way to Victory by Deena Kastor – One of my favorites! I enjoyed reading through Deena’s high school and professional life as a runner. Her attitude and drive inspire me to embrace running even more.

The Brave Athlete: Calm the F*ck Down and Rise to the Occasion by Simon Marshall PhD and Lesley Paterson – Tons of good nuggets of information here. My biggest take away was to learn how to “embrace the suck”. I am still working on applying this to my training and racing.

Lean In: Women, Work, and the Will to Lead by Sheryl Sandberg – Enlightening words by Sheryl on how we women self-sabotage ourselves in the work place. We need to change our attitudes and reach higher! I highly recommend.

#GIRLBOSS by Sophia Amoruso – Sophia knows how to hustle and work hard. I love how she became a millionaire from nothing. Her story is fascinating. Of course this book was written at the height of her career as the founder of a clothing retail site (she has since sold the company and filed bankruptcy). While I find her story of building her business inspiring, I take with a grain of salt her advice in the last chapters. She has no idea what it takes to interview for a job in the corporate world. If nothing else, this book is entertaining

Not all Beachbody coaches are created equal. Few are more active and consistent than most. Some have shown years of dedication to their customers and business. Some have a personal message and story that resonates with you. I am one of those few active, consistent and dedicated coaches. I strive to motivate others by sharing my journey. I listen to and respond to your needs. Before you make your Beachbody purchase, choose a coach that inspires, encourages and helps you stay on track with your health and fitness goals.
