If you are looking for a new strength fitness program that packs a punch in 30 minutes, check out 9 week Control Freak!

This program will be part of Beachbody on Demand (BOD) on May 24, 2021.  Now is a great time to get the Control Track and Ball so you have all you need to get started. Be sure to let me know if you want to join me and my accountability group.

Control Track

The control track that is used in this program Is light and easy to install. It does not interfere with the operation of your door. There is also a wall mount option.

What I love about the control track is that it is fun to use. The video above has examples of Complex moves that use the control track. Notice that the bands can be pulled from the top, bottom or middle of the track. Moving the resistance band up and down the track is very easy.

The Control Track and ball are GREAT for travel. The uninstalled control track, the deflated ball and resistance band fit nicely in my carry on.

There are SIX “Remote control” workouts that you can do while you’re away from home and don’t have dumbbells with you.

The Ball

You wouldn’t expect such a small ball would make a big difference to your workouts but it does. Your abs will be sore using this ball. The above video shows the many way in which we use this ball in the program.

Off the Wall (OTW)

There are 15 “Off the wall” workouts. Apparently there was demand for workouts that did NOT require the control track AND ball. Some customers did not want to make the extra purchase AND some didn’t have a place to install the control track. So , After 9WCF was already released Autumn and cast created and recorded the Off The Wall series and added it to Beachbody On Demand during the VIP access period. Isn’t that awesome? I love that Beachbody heard what the customers where saying and responded so quickly.

Note that each week of OTW is done 3 times in a row in order to make the Off The Wall program last 9 weeks. AND if you DO have to control track and ball, you tack these 15 workout on to the end extending this program to 12 weeks.

Only 30 minutes long

I prefer to keep my strength training workouts to 30 minutes because some days I simply have only 30 minutes for exercise . Other days I might be doubling up by doing one of the 9WCF workouts with an additional run, bike or swim session.

147

This program is advertised as being a 9 week / 45 workout program but it actually has SO MUCH MORE! I counted 147 separate workouts in this program. As I mentioned earlier, In addition to the 45 regular workouts there are “remote control workouts” for travel days.  Off the Wall workouts are for those who couldn’t purchase or don’t use the control track:

  • 45 controlled stretches
  • all of the bonus workouts
  • Freak Week workouts are bonus exercises that are included for those with a Nutrition+ membership
